<h2>Installation of Perl - SCRAM versions from V0_15_0</h2>

Versions V0_15_0 onwards are independent of the location of the perl executable.

By default it is found from the user's path variable using "env". This can be overridden

when running the install_scram script as in the installation
|
| 18 |
instructions. Be careful that this location is consistent across all nodes
|

that will be using the scram installation.

For SCRAM, Perl is assumed to be installed as

On some systems, Perl is actually installed elsewhere (e.g. /usr/bin/perl5) and

so SCRAM will not be able to find it. If this is the case the easiest thing to

do is to get your system administrator to make a link from

/usr/local/bin/perl5 to the installation location.
