In this note we will present new electron selection criteria which have

been developed in the context of $W^{\pm} Z \rightarrow \ell^+\ell^- \ell^\pm \nu$

analysis. The criteria utilize most of the official electron identification
|
| 6 |
|
|
discriminants with an addition of isolation requirements. The selection
|
| 7 |
|
|
criteria thresholds are tuned to achieve higher suppression
|
| 8 |
|
|
of copious $Z+jet$ background. The new selection requirements are also
|
| 9 |
|
|
compared to the official electron criteria within the framework of the $WZ$ analysis.
